Chocolate Workshop
Overview
This is the sweetest team
building activity that you'll ever do! We have been teaching
chocolate making in our Orlando factory for 7 years and over 40,000 people have attended
our events. We now add a
problem solving and creative thinking exercise to the already fun chocolate
making experience.
You may choose either of two team
building experiences:

activity with The Problem Solving Challenge.
Some teams just want to come
in for the fun and social aspect of making the chocolate as a team. Others
want to include the 10 minute creative thinking / problem solving exercise.
Either way, you and your staff will have a GREAT time together. And each
participant will take home 1 pound of their own chocolate creations. But if you
want to really improve workplace productivity, want to see a return on your
investment, you should seriously look at adding the Problem Solving / Creative
Thinking exercise to your visit.
Chocolate
Making Activity
If you are
looking for your team to just have a fun time together, THIS is the
activity for you. In our factory, we all gather around the production tables where we
provide a twelve minute demonstration of how to make your favorite chocolate
confections. After the demonstration, each participant will individually
make 1 pound of their favorite chocolates to take home with them. This
activity will take 1½ - 2 hrs.
Chocolate
Making and Problem Solving Challenge
If you are
looking for results, if you want your team to be more creative thinkers, work
more efficiently, productively, and have fun, THIS is the activity for you.
As we explain your chocolate
making options, we engage the group in a challenge to solve a “problem” that has
arisen. Everyone works together to find the most efficient way to
accomplish our new goal. Through trial and error efforts they will arrive at
the solution and conquer the challenge. This takes only slightly more time than the other introduction and still offers the
participants plenty of their own chocolate making time. The group is then challenged
that in the next seven days they focus on an inefficiency in their own workplace and apply
their new thinking to create a solution for it. At the end
of a week they are to turn in all the suggestions to the team leader. He (or
she) evaluates the entries and gives the winner a Farris and Foster’s gift certificate
( which we provide) for
a return visit. Win/win/win.
We teach
thinking creatively (outside the box) efficiency, and we encourage
resourcefulness. Actually, we foster it. The lesson
is very easily learned, is concise, to the point and will be utilized for
years to come.
The entire
chocolate making and problem solving activity takes 2 hours.

person (+tax) Minimum 5 people.
Chocolate Making with Problem Solving Activity - $25.00 per person (+tax)
Minimum 8 people.

Our
meeting room can accommodate groups of up to 36 people.
How can we schedule a workshop?

Workshops can be conducted weekdays at 10 AM, 1 PM and
3:30 PM.
